Dear Alumni, Friends and Supporters:
The members of the Charlotte chapter of the SCSU National Alumni Association would like to take this time to invite you to attend and/or support our annual Scholarship Gala to be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Through this major fundraiser we are able to provide much needed financial assistance to those college bound students who, if not for our contributions, might otherwise be deprived of a college education.
We feel that we play an important role in stimulating and fostering the idea that through the attainment of high scholastic achievement as well as involvement in sports and the civic life of the community that an opportunity for a wonderful education is possible. Furthermore, we feel that providing mentorship and assistance to those less fortunate is vital to our children’s success and the world’s future.
This year we are soliciting your support of our Gala by asking that you or your organization make a monetary contribution or purchase an ad in our Souvenir booklet. These ads will serve as advertisement for your business or organization as well as publicly display your support of this worthwhile charitable event.
As a 501c(3) organization your monetary contribution to our organization is fully tax deductible and we will be happy to provide you with our EIN or Tax Identification Number for tax purposes.
Your support will enable us to continue to play an integral role in fulfilling the dreams, hopes and aspirations of many students in the Charlotte area.
